Noise (Global Music Union/Label) Community Policy 2021

As a member or participant of RipStar/ Noise we agree to practice the following behavioral guidelines;

1. Fortune- we value knowledge and wisdom backed by forensic evidence.

Self-empowerment is valued and deficit management styles are prohibited. Interdependence thru collaborative diversity leads to maximization of intelligence. We use consensus decision making where possible to advance our goals set in transparent member only private meetings.

2. Rights- we strive for greater equity/fairness and reduction to unreasonable bias and unlawful discrimination by creating inclusive safe spaces for all with zero tolerance for violence and hate. We have a transparent complaints process for any matter brought before us involving our clients, staff, or audience feedback. We value difference and respectfully debate and problems to drive them to solutions.

3. Environment- we use ecological designs and sustainable development practices to solve problems, lighten footprints and counter reliance on toxins in the manufacture and abuse that often occurs during goods production/packaging. Thus, we are a digital based music company with only a very limited number of demo physical products. Where we do make commercial physical products, we tie them to basic needs such as shirts and increasingly are seeking clean ways to produce.

4. Share- we reward sponsors and highlight companies that sponsor artists in our network as a way to redistribute wealth and offer alternatives to capital gains as a measure for success. We measure success including human based capital and demonstrate those gains thru personal testimonies of how our programs have helped participants at various moments in time. Our artist/vendor and client licensing contracts are structured on a share the wealth model. We have a rigorous screening process to reduce the chances any of our signed artists, 1099 staff, or vendor partners represent conflict of interests for any services performed.

5. Harmony- Natural balance has been disrupted on earth, but we recognize equilibriums and natural balance is a basic need. As a company, we try to restore or preserve above all other pursuits, nature’s harmony. Therefore, all major actions are debated with seven generations ahead in mind.

6. Potential- we support optimal development thru good parenting, education and nutrition. Waste reduction and barrier prevention includes reversing conditions that lead to ignorance, oppression, malnutrition, chemical and substance abuse, abject poverty, or addictive/dependent behaviors. Every team member dedicates 8 hours of community service a year, or more, and are rewarded for making adopted proposals that include actions we can take as a company to actively increase potential in the world. We routinely share best practices to improve service models that can be modeled globally thru our public communications.

7. Peace- we chose the least violent options by considering impacts on future generations. We encourage compassion and reverence for all life, but also necessary reasonable defenses to identified threats.

8. Defense- we use progressive music and sponsorship models supporting the redistribution of wealth to reinforce the healthy development or reformation or stabilization of people. It is our belief that practicing the above will further reduce abnormal behavior that in part is socially developed, help people better adapt and enjoy a higher quality of life for all, and lessen violence and crime in general.
